We would like to welcome Baretta, The Cuban and Empire as new 2IQ clients, using our recently released HospoIQ solution. We met with their Operations Manager, Rourie Thompson, just over two months ago, to discuss their needs for convenient, instant and accurate access to summary information based on their point-of-sale (POS) data. This resulted in a fully mobile, cloud-based solution that provides them with real-time visibility of their essential sales KPIs – uploaded live from their POS solution (Menumate) - direct to any iOS, Android or Windows mobile device!
Rourie’s essential requirements were to provide the owners with both accurate and real time visibility into the summarised sales of their sites, delivered to mobile. Through applying an Agile delivery model of weekly iterations, we rapidly produced a fit-for-purpose solution based on Rourie’s feedback. The resulting 2IQ Hospitality Analytics solution solved their sales data needs using Microsoft’s Power BI solution and Azure, cloud-based data storage. Additional to this, the owners now have visibility into the actual staffing versus requirements, predicted sales for today, tomorrow and next week, plus historic sales reporting for analysis, across each bar – all available via mobile, tablet or PC.
This is a great story of how your existing operational data can be leveraged to provide analytics and visibility utilising Microsoft’s cloud technology. Their data was already being captured in their POS system, then we provided the real time data storage via Microsoft Azure and the analytical layer and mobile visibility via Power BI. Capture, Analyse, Visualise – the cornerstones for helping to achieve successful business outcomes.
